Job Opening: Landscape Crew Member

Responsibilities:

  • Plant installation (transport, soil amendments, placement, etc.)
  • Material movement throughout jobsites including wheelbarrow, ball cart, tarps and other tools.
  • Uses hand tools including shovels, picks, rakes, etc. to dig holes for plant and hardscape elements, lawn grading, seed/sod installation and related activities.
  • Performs other related tasks to aid in the construction and maintenance of softscape and hardscape projects.
  • Aids in maintaining clean and safe jobsite; clean up and walk through to ensure all tasks are completed and accounts for all company equipment assigned to team.
  • Maintains professional image at all times and provides polite responses / interactions with clients.
  • Reports to work at required time effectively listen and perform assignments and make sure landscape laborers complete tasks at hand.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Skills/Abilities – Ability to:
    • Ensure the safety of crew members and customers at all times
    • Manage proper use and maintenance of equipment
    • Neatly/accurately complete company required forms
    • Use or learn new methods for our specific equipment/procedures
    • Spread mulch, stone, and other landscape material using hand tools.
    • Dig holes for new plants using shovels
    • Use a hand rake for extended periods of time
    • Drive one-ton dump truck (with/without enclosed 20’ trailer)

Education: High School Diploma preferred

Salary: based on experience 

Valid Drivers License Preferred. Could be asked to work weekends
